Baby Care Basics

We all would like to be able to remember all the special moments in the lives of our children. This can be quite difficult for us to do but you can get close by taking lots of pictures. When you take pictures you are better able to remember the moment when you see the photo. You may not be able to get all the special moments on picture but you may want to at least try.

You could try making a scrapbook album with photos and memories of each child’s life. When your child becomes an adult you could give them their scrapbook as a gift. You will have many years to enjoy the scrapbook and when your child becomes an adult they will get the scrapbook to enjoy and share with their family.

Do not let a year go by without getting photos. You will want pictures of your child during each age. The first time you bring your new baby home and gently lay her in the crib be sure that you have a camera on hand. You will want to start your scrapbook with a picture like that.

The older your children get the more photo opportunities you will have. When your children try to ride a bike for the very first time be sure you are standing by with the camera. You will want to capture that proud look on your child’s face as he is putting on his new shiny black helmet and climbing on to his bike. You both will want to be able to look back on this day.

When your children start school you will want to have the camera handy for that first day. This day will be special and emotional for both parent and child. Your children are becoming independent when they start school and this can be hard for a parent to accept. Your child will be getting a drivers license sooner than you think. Be sure to have that trusty camera near by.

Be sure to take a photo of this first ride just as you did with the first bike ride they took. Remember that proud look your child had the day he learned to ride a bike well now he will be even more full of pride while climbing behind the wheel of the car. You will want this photo along with all the rest.

These are moments he will one day want to share with his family. It seems just like yesterday when you were taking that picture of your newborn in his baby bed. Well now you are taking a picture of him going to his first prom. This is a special night for your baby. When you put all these pictures together in a scrapbook you will not believe how much has happened in such a short amount of time. The next big moment you will need to capture on film will be your child’s graduation. This is probably a good time to give them their scrapbook.
