21st January 2009 by Babies No CommentsEvery new born baby’s hand and legs will not be stretched much as they were curled inside their mom’s uterus. It makes some time for them to stretch out properly. They will feel better to be wrapped inside a soft blanket. Their skin will be so soft. So one must be very careful in handling them. For the first 2 or 3 months no stranger must carry them. They are very sensitive to germ attack. Even the nurse must be careful while removing the plaster after putting injection. Their nails must be cut so that they do not hurt themselves. The new born baby is completely dependant on its mother for care, love and affection. Breast feeding is the first and the foremost thing that a new born baby needs. If one is not aware of how to do breast feeding then she need not hesitate to ask her nurse. Crying is a sign of hungriness of a baby. They must be fed the moment they start crying or before they star crying. While feeding the baby, it must be hold in the right position so that it feels comfortable. The surroundings of the baby must be kept very clean and free from noise so that they do not get disturbed while sleeping. Bathing them is another important thing where one must be very careful. Neither hot nor cold water must be used. Only warm water is recommended. The soaps and lotions that are suggested for babies must only be used.
