Baby Care- Importance of Child Psychology

Psychology deals with the effective interpretation of emotions. An emotion is a feeling a mood, or affection. Every human infant is born into a society, which has a cultural pattern of its own. There are various minute observations to be made in the interpersonal relationship between infant and the mother and the members of family. Mother is considered to be best interface for the child’s intentions.
Child psychology deals with the development of mental and socially conscious infant. There are some signs that greatly develop the infant psychologically balanced. Love, belonging, security, affection, child-parent relationship and social, emotional, intellectual are the factors that affect on growth and the development of infants and toddlers. There are several milestones that are believed to be the landmarks in the growth and development of the child, physically, emotionally and socially. These are referred as the ‘developmental milestones’. Infants are sensitive to heat and cold and respond to pain and hunger, movements are mostly reflex. Hence parents should ensure efficient care for the babies.
The heat regularity center is immature. Mother should provide an adegnate source of sensory sensation, helps functional integration, emotional and general development. It is important for the parents to be conscious of the efforts made by the child in signaling certain things and gesturing uniquely to draw their attention. Parents should also ensure that child is free from any mental disturbances since this may affect the child in its major period of growth.
