Baby Care Basics- Baby Crying

A baby cries only when it needs something. Mostly the baby requires some physical requirements or may feel uncomfortable. They may be wet, too dry, hot, or may be in an ill environment etc. Some of the cases the babies don’t require something physically but require something mentally, sometimes baby cries as it feels lonely, it wants someone near it. During the early period the child actually try to recognize the ones who actually care for them, mostly their parents. A new born baby usually cries for about 2 hours a day during the first month. This increases by half an hour during the next week and gradually decreases during the start of the third month. When we satisfy the baby requirements the baby stops crying automatically. In case of hunger when u feed the baby it stops crying. Sometimes it may feel lonely or bored, during then one should hold the baby high over the shoulder so that the stomach of the baby lies on the shoulder bone and the baby feels better. Also try to cradle the baby around your arms sometimes. Try holding your baby and walking around, so that baby feels that it’s in motion and may stop crying. Trying massaging smoothly the baby’s back from neck to its back. Speak something softly into the ears of the baby making it feel better. These tips help you control your baby crying.
