One of the most important things is to make your guest list properly and then send it to people who are on it. Then you have to plan the scheme of the party itself and think how you will go about entertaining the guests in the right way. Now, it is easy to get the food, but it is more difficult to get the right entertainment options. One of the ways to go about it is to find out stuff in the baby section of a bookstore or mall where you might get some great ideas. A few of these ideas would be difficult to organize but mos t of them will be simple and fun.
Food and Entertainment
Here’s one good idea. You need some baby food to organize it your baby shower. Various baby food containers need to be bought and then all you have to do is remove the labels. The guests don’t know what these containers have; all they can see is the food itself. Then the guests are made to taste these foods and guess what they really are. They have to guess the flavor, etc. The person who guesses the most foods correctly wins.
You could add a fun twist to this game by asking the mother to taste all the different foods herself. Put a blindfold on her and get the host to feed her these foods one by one. She can guess them as she tastes them. You can see how this could be a great fun experience for the guests.
This is another fun idea. Guests are made to drink from baby bottles. Each baby bottle is filled with different kinds of drinks, and guests are made to choose which one they would like, or this could be randomly assigned. The challenge is that the guests have to finish drinking everything from the bottle in the shortest possible time.
This is a fun idea when a lot of women are in attendance. It could be played either individually or as a team. Women have to carry their purses. When the host calls out names of things that are usually found in a woman’s purse, the woman that has that particular item removes it from the purse and shows it to everyone. The team or the individual that can bring up the largest number of announced items is the winner.
