When it comes to taking care of a baby the most important thing is feeding the baby. It’s required to know the type of food, the time interval of feeding, healthy food for feeding and so on. During the first month, try to restrict to breast feeding. You can try with other food items step by step. Be sure to try new food items at an interval of at least one week, so that we can identify the reasons of allergies or side effects if any. Make sure that u you given almost all the vegetables to the kid before going to feed with meat. Try to reduce the boiling of vegetables/fruits which will loose most of the vitamins in it. Instead u can try microwave or steam cooking to retain the vitamins in it. Try thinners and thickeners such as yogurt, apple juice, cow’s milk, and water left from steaming etc. It’s very important to note the things which should not be done regarding to the feeding of baby. Avoid nuts, popcorn, raw vegetables, peanut butter for the children who are under the age of 2 years. It’s not advised to give honey to the child within the age group of 1year. Try avoiding the feed of egg whites to the children below 1year. Avoid the addition of salt, pepper, sugar and other spices to the food of children. Even the high acidic fruits such as oranges and pineapples are not advised for the child below 2 years. Try not limiting the baby’s fat intake, because it’s a vital requirement for its development.
